Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Generalist to support day-to-day human resources functions including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, approachable, and passionate about fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and managers
  • Support recruitment efforts including posting jobs, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and preparing offer letters
  • Conduct new hire onboarding and orientation
  • Administer employee benefits and assist with open enrollment and vendor communications
  • Support employee relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and documenting incidents
  • Maintain HRIS systems and ensure accuracy of employee data
  • Assist with payroll processing and timekeeping system management
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws (FMLA, ADA, EEO, etc.)
  • Coordinate training sessions and support performance management processes
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Support HR projects and process improvement initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom, BambooHR) preferred
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus
