About the Role

We re seeking a highly skilled iOS Developer to support Reddit s publishing team in building features that reach millions of users. You will contribute to the development of high-impact functionalities such as AMA (Ask Me Anything) and personalized newsfeeds with a focus on journalism and content engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver user-centric mobile experiences.
• Develop, test, and launch features at scale using Swift , Objective-C , and GraphQL .
• Review code, design documents, and product specifications while providing constructive feedback.
• Drive experimentation and performance analysis through A/B testing and continuous improvement.
• Establish best practices, mentor junior developers, and contribute to technical documentation and team standards.
• Participate in scaling and enhancing apps used by over a million active users.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in iOS app development.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining consumer-facing iOS applications with large user bases (1M+ users).
• Expertise in Swift and Objective-C .
• Strong working knowledge of GraphQL and UIKit .
• Familiarity with software engineering best practices: code reviews, testing (unit/integration/E2E), CI/CD pipelines, and API design (REST,
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills especially in remote team environments.
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with A/B testing and mobile app experimentation.
• Exposure to additional programming languages (e.g., Java , Python , C++ , Rust ).
• Entrepreneurial mindset: self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
