Job Description

The Marketing Content Specialist is responsible for content creation across platforms and media. This person will develop and write engaging and relevant content for various marketing channels, including blog posts, social media, emails, newsletters and website content.

• Copywriting experience - this role involves writing member emails, newsletters, blogs, website content, and press releases.
• Design experience - familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite tools like InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop. The role will also involve designing flyers, email headers, and disclosures.
• Social media management - the specialist will be responsible for creating and designing content for posts and stories.
• Bonus skills - any experience with video or photography would be a big plus.

Essential Responsibilities

• Develop and write engaging and relevant content for various marketing channels, including blog posts, social media, emails, newsletters and website content.
• Shoot on-location photos as needed on a project basis.
• Collaborate across the organization to gather information and create content that aligns with brand messaging and objectives.
• Work with Digital Marketing Specialist to execute the monthly social media calendar, creating content and getting approvals in advance of deployment dates
• Create a library of content, including blog posts, social media posts, testimonials, photos, and more
• Use design and layout software to create and/or edit flyers, advertisements, and other collateral
• Provide creative support for other marketing projects as requested.
• Ensures that the Credit Union brand is maintained through all delivery channels.

Education/Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in digital content creation, including but not limited to: film/video production, photography, art/design, writing, social media, preferably for a financial institution
• Excellent writing skills for a variety of applications and audiences
• Experience with content creation for social media and websites
• Proficient in video creation, editing, and production using tools like Adobe Premiere, After Effects, or equivalents; experienced with graphic design tools like Photoshop and Illustrator

The pay range for this position is listed above. Our pay ranges are designed to allow for candidates with various levels of experience and skill to be considered, and to allow room for growth to be achieved in a role over time. Generally, new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their individual combination of experience, knowledge, skills, and education as well as internal equity.
