Scale House Operator
Monday-Friday

Safety
- Be safety conscious on all aspects of the job. We must keep each other and our customers safe while on the premises.
Customers
- Greet all customers whether in person or by phone with respect.
  - Be factual with statements and help assist in answering all their questions. If you don’t know the answer refer to someone that can answer.
Do required tickets / credits / cash / checks and enter them in correctly.
Handle all paperwork associated with transactions.
Do end of day paperwork. Check transactions to verify accuracy. Separate days into induvial folders at end of shift. Training will be provided.
Communicate with loader operators and drivers to assure customers get the correct aggregate.
Order supplies
- If trained – order supplies needed from approved vendors for safety and or office supplies. Training will be provided.
Paperwork
- Help maintain MSHA paperwork:
  - Contractor information
  - Site specific form – properly filled out and filed.
  - Make sure SDS are current for products being used on site.
  - Make sure all vendors / contractors / visitors sign in and out on sign in form provided in scale house.
Reports
- Enter daily sales and production report.
Cleaning
- Make sure the office is presentable to our customers and ourselves.
  - Daily sweeping
  - Wipe counters and desk when needed – with cleaning supplies provided.
  - Trash is to be removed before overflowing.
  - Sweep off the front deck and step to keep our customers / vendors and employees safe from slipping.
