Key Responsibilities: Proactively generate new business by identifying and engaging prospective clients through networking, outreach, and on-site visits. Effectively promote the technical capabilities in oncology, immunology, and antibody drug discovery. Provide consultative, solution-oriented sales tailored to clients’ scientific needs. Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with existing clients through excellent customer support and communication. Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement strategies for client acquisition and retention. Collect and analyze market intelligence, including trends in pricing, competition, and industry developments. Monitor competitor activities and contribute to strategic planning for business development. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales or business development within a preclinical CRO or relevant biotech/pharma environment. Strong knowledge of the Bay Area biotech/pharma market with an existing network of industry contacts. Experience in antibody drug discovery and protein engineering is highly desirable. Master’s degree in a scientific discipline required; PhD or MBA preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and navigate complex client needs. Proven ability to turn strategy into actionable outcomes; strong negotiation and presentation skills. Self-motivated with a high level of energy and a continuous improvement mindset. Strong team player with a collaborative mindset. Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
