I could start this video with all the reasons I never wanted to start blogging – long list – but you probably have heard them all, and even thought some of them yourself. So why am I blogging?
I have just turned 63, quite an astonishing age given I feel about 43. I am a therapist, teacher, mentor, been in private practice since 1981, trainer – having taught all around the world, and an entrepreneur, having launched 3 businesses of my own, and still learning!. And… I just passed the 5 year mark in cancer recovery. I share this as the backdrop to where I am at in my life. What matters to me now, more than ever, is to share whatever I have learned that could make a difference to someone else. I love learning and this goes hand-in-hand with sharing and teaching.
I have learned so much from clients in the past 40 years, and I have learned how to be an excellent facilitator of transformation, teacher and mentor for other helping professionals. So what do I do with all this experience and “wisdom”, share of course. So here is a sampling of some of the things I would like to share:
- How I discovered the “cracks” in my own identity, and what a blessing that turned out to be
- Why I think we all need to create a new “identity” for ourselves
- How feeling like a victim is wired into most of us, even if we deny it
- How use coercion in all kinds of relationships, even though we know better!
- What’s in our blind-spot that results in sabotaging and limiting our success and happiness
- How past failure, losses and betrayals are all encoded in our nervous system and what we can do
- How our brain is evolving and we have our hands on the steering wheel, guiding this process
Well… if any of these topics interest you please tune into my blog ….
In my first blog post, coming out in the next few days, I’m going to talk about the miracles I discovered going through my experience with cancer.
See you soon!
Hi Lynn: Look forward to reading your Blog.
Hi Linda, thanks for replying and I am keen to read what people think and their comments. There is so much to share and to learn.
Hello Lynn, Your first blog is inspiring and a miracle like you. You have been a mentor and a miracle in my life and I am so grateful that you are always there as a loving support. Congratulations on this first endeavour which you have done extraordinarily well! All my love, Jean

You might find this very interesting. I have been diagnosed with Genetic Anxiety Disorder. I have been having panic attacks for no apparent reason and waking up with them. I thought that after getting a handle on my life these would go away.Do you believe in Menopause? Why do I wake up some days and feel like I cant go on or so weepy. Would love to have a discussion over that.
You are truly an amazing Woman.
Hi Stephanie, wow it is interesting what your body is doing. I would be happy to chat as I don’t like to offer suggestions on a complex situation without knowing more. Often when we simply things we miss some of the variables, conscious or not, that are in the mix.
Thank you for responding to the blog and I look forward to your
comments and feedback!
Gret work Lyn
